The Calmer It Is, The More Dangerous It Is
This poster that I designed has a hidden message thats illustrate the view of the sea, where the beautiful sunset and the waves of the ocean appeals very cheerful and happy. But what’s under the water, is just dark and lonely.
The Hidden Message
The statement I made was based on a real-life situation, telling the audience that it may seem calm and beautiful on the other side, but it’s not what you think it is once you are there. More like the appearance of someone, but once you get to know them, they are totally another different type of person from their appearances.
Visual
The reason why I designed the rainy cloud like that, is to implement that once the poster is turned upside down, the visual should show it as seaweed on top of the underwater rocks. Other than that, there is a boat in the middle to show the wave of the sea. Lastly, the two white circles in between the boat are actually a moon that is reflected back from the light being shine on the opposite water.
Mechanism
For the audience to be able to view the poster upside down without needing to tilt their head, I bought a fidget spinner and disassemble the gimbal from the body of the spinner, afterwards I taped the gimbal behind the poster against the wall. This will let the audience to spin the poster by just pushing the corners of the poster either to the right or left to make it upside down.
