Nurdles
Nurdles is a project to help people realise how dangerous the world is polluted by micro-plastic. By understanding the storyline of the game , it will help people realise on what will be affected by micro-plastic towards the world. By spreading awareness about how bad the outcomes are for the environment and us, will help people realise and take action to stop using plastic as a daily regiment.
This Project has been draft selected and a finalist for Immersive Media and Game of the year in Rookie Award*
Why?
Micro-plastics are an emerging environmental and health issue. Although more research is urgently needed to understand the full extent of the risks they pose to human health, plastic has been designed to be durable and this problem has been anonymous to us as human beings.
How to Play?
Complete all the task that is indicated through the game while at the same time, using the journal book as guidance on how to interact with each task.
Story of the game.
This is a story of the aftermath when the world was conquered by micro-plastic and plastic pollution. That has left one survivor in the world, who survives by re-using and recycling back all of the scraps. While trying to find new scraps for his survival journey. His self-made aircraft has been accidentally hijacked by the plastic debris in the air. Left him stranded alone for a few days on the polluted ocean, hoping to find a nearby island to hop on. Meanwhile, after waking up from a nightmare, he has to go through his daily routine of surviving on the contaminated ocean in the plastic polluted world and make full use of his surrounding scraps to survive.
