Hydro Power
An educational Unity 2D game for high schoolers to embrace their Physic subject in school. The main goal was to teach them on how “Hydro-Power” system works.
How to play?
Help the villagers light up their small town. Every house that lights up will increase the time that allows the user to spin the turbine even more faster to produce more power for the other houses. At the end, you will receive an official certification from the town as an appreciation from them.
Previous version of its mock up ideation.
The water is flowing from the top of the cave and will eventually drop on the turbine itself, the turbine mechanism under the cave is connected by 2 pivot sticks that can balance the water and make a path for the water to flow. The objective is to make the water flow faster and connect the path of the water to the second turbine for the electricity to be generated. Lastly, it was too complicated, so I made the cave itself the obstacle for the water to flow through and you have to make a pattern for the water to flow through the cave properly to the turbine.

Every youth these days loves games. As the reason for that, using a game itself to help them understand what they are learning in school is an effective way to help them learn and sparks interest on the subject that they are learning while still being able to enjoy playing games at the same time.
